Quebec Approves 2026 Tesla Model Y from Giga Berlin for $4,000 EV Rebate — Combine It with Referral Rewards

Giga Berlin Model Y Joins Quebec’s Rebate List

Tesla’s upcoming 2026 Model Y Long Range (AWD-B), built at Gigafactory Berlin, has officially been approved for Quebec’s Roulez-Vert EV rebate. This means Quebec buyers can now receive the $4,000 provincial rebate when purchasing this new Berlin-built Model Y variant.

This confirmation is a major win for Quebec EV shoppers—especially with the Model Y remaining the province’s most popular electric SUV.

Why This Matters for Quebec Buyers

1. Federal iZEV rebate ended, but its replacement is live — Ottawa's $5,000 iZEV incentive ended in early 2025, and the federal government's new Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP) launched February 16, 2026, offering up to $5,000 for vehicles under a $50,000 transaction-value cap. See our EVAP guide for details.

2. Quebec's Roulez-Vert rebate is at $4,000 for this Model Y (down from the previous $7,000), and the program is scheduled to end entirely on December 31, 2026, with no provincial rebates currently planned for 2027 — so this stacking window won't stay open indefinitely.

3. Berlin-built Model Y pricing stays eligible — avoiding U.S. tariffs keeps MSRP around $64,990, under the rebate cap.

4. Quebec EV sales fell 35% year-over-year, so this new eligibility may boost demand again.

How to Stack the Quebec Rebate with Tesla Referral Rewards

Quebec buyers now benefit from a strong double-savings opportunity:

• Quebec Rebate: $4,000 off your purchase

• Buyer Referral Benefit:

  • 3-month Full Self-Driving (Supervised) trial

• Referrer Reward: $325 CAD in Tesla Credits for whoever referred you. Quebec residents aren't currently eligible for Tesla's separate $20 CAD demo-drive referral credit.

How to Apply Both Savings

1. Use a Tesla referral link from our active pool before you place your order.

2. Select the 2026 Model Y AWD-B during checkout. See the Tesla referral program by model (Model Y, Model 3, Cybertruck) for model-specific details.

3. Confirm that:

   • Your referral link is applied

   • Your vehicle is eligible for the $4,000 Quebec rebate

4. Complete your order — your final price can drop to roughly $61,000 after stacking both benefits.

Tip: If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to buy, this is one of the strongest incentive combinations available in Quebec.

Who Benefits Most?

• Quebec EV buyers: You gain both a rebate and referral-based perks.

• Tesla referrers: You earn $325 CAD per successful referral.

• EV content creators: This is a major new update that drives high search interest.

Final Takeaway

The Berlin-built 2026 Model Y becoming eligible for Quebec’s $4,000 rebate creates a rare opportunity to stack incentives. Combined with Tesla’s updated referral program—offering buyers 3 months of FSD (Supervised), plus $325 CAD in Tesla Credits for referrers—Quebec shoppers can unlock one of the best Tesla deals available in 2025–2026.
